  1. When did you first find Letzshare and what was your first experience?

I found Letzshare during the summer of 2017. I’ve always wanted to try more outdoor activities but it was always difficult to find the right opportunity to get started and I’ve always been anxious about meeting new people as I’m generally a quiet person.

I was on Facebook one day when I stumbled across Letzshare who were promoting a Coasteering activity in St David’s, delivered by TYF Adventure. It sounded like a perfect opportunity to try something new with other women who were looking for the same experience. My friend came along with me to this outing and it was brilliant! Giorgia and the other ladies were all really friendly and approachable and taking part in the opportunity was challenging, exciting, sometimes scary but it was such a good day and I’m really glad that I did it and I can’t wait to do it again.

 

  1. What activities have you tried with Letzshare?

After trying coasteering I found that it had set me on a path for trying out more activities and I’ve attended a few Letzshare events. These include:

  • Beginners Surfing and Yoga x 2
  • Bootcamp
  • Beginners Mountain Biking
  • Beginner Snowboarding
  • Beginners Stand up paddle boarding & Yoga
  • Surfing Improver Day

 

  1. What do you enjoy about Letzshare events?

I enjoy trying out new activities in a friendly non – judgemental environment with other women. I love the outdoors and being able to experience these activities in some fantastic locations across Wales makes it so much more special.

 

  1. How have you challenged yourself?

 

I’ve challenged myself by taking the step to try these new activities and accomplishing the tasks and conquering my own anxieties about trying something new.

 

  1. Any tips for women wanting to try something new, get active or meet new people but feel intimidated/ nervous?

 

Consider the pros of what you can achieve by breaking down those boundaries that are preventing you from doing any of the above – there is so much you can learn and achieve by taking part!
